Rajesh Sweet & Restaurants

Our place is at Shop Number 141 in Sector-35 D. If you know Chandigarh, you know this sector is always buzzing with people looking for a bite to eat. We have the restaurant side and the sweets side. The smell of frying snacks and sugar syrup is something you just get used to after a while. It is a small shop but we pack a lot into it. The tables are always being wiped down because people are coming and going all day long. We start early to get the fresh sweets ready for the morning rush. Sector-35 D is a competitive place for food but we just do our own thing at Rajesh Sweet & Restaurants. We have a few regulars who come in every single day for their tea or a quick snack. The kitchen in the back is always busy and sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when the lunch crowd hits. We do not have fancy menus or anything like that. Everything is just listed on the wall or you can just ask us what is fresh today. The floors get sticky by the afternoon and we are constantly mopping up. It is a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with the heat from the stoves. We just try to get the orders out as fast as we can without making too many mistakes. That is just life in the shop and we are okay with it.
