Prastuti Media

Our office, Prastuti Media, is over in Mohali at 2687/A, Sector 66. It’s a decent area and easy enough to get to once you know the street. We’ve got a small setup here with our computers and some basic equipment. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy waiting room or a coffee machine that does everything. We just have our desks and some chairs. Most of the time we are glued to our screens, working on whatever project is currently on the table. It can get pretty quiet when we’re all focused, punctuated only by the sound of someone getting up to stretch. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves. It hasn’t always been easy, and there are days when things don’t go according to plan, but we stick with it. We handle a bit of everything—editing, writing, and making sure the files are sent to the right people. We don’t have a big boss breathing down our necks, just our own deadlines. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and other times we head out early if the work is done. It’s a flexible way to live. We’re just a small group of people in Sector 66 trying to make something of our time. It’s honest work and we’re glad to be doing it here. The building we're in isn't the newest, and sometimes the elevator is a bit temperamental, so we often just take the stairs. It's good exercise, I guess. We have a few plants on the windowsills.
