Pradeep Kumar

My name is Pradeep Kumar and I’ve been based out of Manimajra for a long time now. My place is over near Isha Park on the Old Chhani Road. It’s a nice area, quite busy during the afternoons. I started this business because I wanted to work for myself and stay close to home. The office isn't much, just a small room where I keep my equipment and books. Most days I’m either sitting at the desk or out meeting people nearby. Isha Park is a good landmark, so most people don't have a hard time finding where I am. It can get a bit dusty with all the traffic on the old road, but that’s part of living here. I don’t use any fancy systems or complicated technology. I just use what works and keep track of everything in my ledger. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s silent. I’ve learned to take it as it comes. My neighbors know me well, and I try to help out when I can. It’s just a one-man show for the most part, though occasionally I get some help if a job is too big. I’m not looking to become some huge corporation or anything like that. I just like the work I do and the people I meet around Manimajra. It’s a decent way to make a living and I plan to stay here for a while yet. It suits me fine.
