Pal Sweets

Pal Sweets is located right near Shiva Park in Sector 27. We are in one of the row houses there. It is a quiet enough area compared to the main markets, but we still get plenty of foot traffic from the park. Being near the row houses means we know most of our neighbors. We spend a lot of time in the back working on the different sweets. The smell usually stays inside the shop, but sometimes you can catch it outside on the sidewalk. We have a counter where everything is displayed. It’s not a huge space, so things can get a bit cramped when more than a few people walk in at once. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just enough so people know it’s us. The floor gets sticky sometimes, so we are always mopping. We try to keep the glass clean so you can see what’s available. Working here means getting up before the sun is really out. There’s a lot of prep work to do before we open the doors. We like the spot near Shiva Park because it feels like a community. Families come by after their walks. We just focus on keeping the trays full. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We don’t have a website or any of that. Just this little spot in Sector 27. It's nothing special, just a shop where we work every day. Usually, the evening is when we see the most people after they finish their work.
