Neighbourhood Builder And Consulting is located on the ground floor of House No. 78 in Sector-11A, Chandigarh. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in and ask questions about their own houses or land. We do a mix of building work and consulting, so some days we are looking at bricks and other days we are just giving advice on how to start a project. The office is pretty basic. We have some chairs for visitors and a couple of desks for us to work on. Sector-11A is a nice part of Chandigarh, and we like being part of the neighborhood here. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people; we just explain things in plain English. If someone wants to know if a wall can be moved or how much a renovation might cost, we tell them the truth. We don't have a big fancy office because we'd rather spend our time at the actual building sites. There is always a lot of paperwork with the local authorities, so we spend a good chunk of our week dealing with that. It is steady work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city; we just want to do a good job for the people who live nearby. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves.
