Navi Musical Group & D J System

We have been here in Sector 44 Kedari Nagar for quite a few years now. The shop is usually full of speakers and tangled cables that we spend hours sorting through before any gig. Navi Musical Group & D J System started small, mostly just a couple of us who liked loud music and knew how to hook up a mixer. People in Wanawarie know where to find us because the bass usually shakes the windows when we are testing out new subwoofers in the afternoon. It is not always glamorous work. Sometimes we are hauling heavy boxes up narrow stairs at three in the morning when a party ends. Pune 33 is our home base and we know these streets well. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with people for weddings or local festivals. The office isn't much to look at, just some chairs and a desk covered in booking diaries. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few guys who know their way around an amplifier. Most days it is just us checking the lights and making sure the microphones don't have that annoying feedback sound. It gets dusty in the storage room and we are constantly looking for lost extension cords. That is just how it goes when you run a music business in a busy spot like this. We try to keep things simple and just show up when we are supposed to.
