Moti Mehal Delux

Started at Sco-179-180 in Sector-17C quite some time ago. Most days, we are just here early getting things ready for whoever walks in. Sector-17 is a busy part of the city, so there is always noise outside our doors. We spend a lot of time in the back making sure the food is actually cooked right. It gets hot in the kitchen, especially in the summers here. Some of the guys have been working here for years and they know exactly where everything goes. We don't really do much fancy stuff, just keep the tables clean and make sure the plates are ready. If you walk past Sco-179-180, you’ll see the sign for Moti Mehal Delux. It’s a big space but it fills up fast on weekends. Sometimes the deliveries are late and we have to scramble. That’s just how it goes in the restaurant business. We try to keep things simple and honest. No big speeches or anything like that. We just focus on the orders. The floors get swept twice a day because people bring in a lot of dust from the street. It’s just us doing our thing in Sector-17C. We see a lot of regular faces who have been coming since we first opened. It’s a lot of work, but we are used to the rhythm now. Every morning starts the same way with the shutters going up and the stove being lit.
