We have been operating out of 74 Sangam Enclave in Sector 48 A of Chandigarh for quite some time now. Mechartes Researchers Pvt Ltd is basically just a small group of us who enjoy digging into technical data and figuring out how things work. Our office isn't anything like those fancy corporate spaces you see in magazines. It is a bit cluttered with papers, old research journals, and a few computers that have seen better days. The neighborhood in Chandigarh is usually quiet, which is good because the kind of research we do requires a lot of concentration. Sometimes the fans in the office make a clicking sound that we’ve just learned to ignore over the months. We don't really go in for big meetings or long speeches about what we are doing. Mostly, we just sit at our desks and get on with the tasks. People usually find us because they need someone to look at a complicated problem that doesn't have an easy answer. We take our lunch breaks together at a local spot nearby, and then it is back to the data. It is a simple routine, but it works for us. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one so people know they’ve found the right house in Sangam Enclave. It feels more like a workshop than a formal office, and that is exactly how we like to keep things around here.
