Our place, Indrason Precision Engineer Pvt Ltd, is over in Sector 34 on the 26th Main Road, right at 196 - 197. It is a pretty standard industrial spot, really. The floor is always covered in those tiny metal shavings that seem to get into everything, even your shoes. We spend a lot of time hovering over the machines, checking the dials and making sure the cuts are where they need to be. It gets pretty hot in here during the summer months, especially when all the equipment has been running since eight in the morning. We do not have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. Usually, if a customer comes by, we just talk near the entrance where it is a bit quieter. Some days are just about fixing the machines when they decide to act up, which happens more than I would like. It is mostly just a group of us who have been doing this for years. We know the sounds the lathes make and when something does not feel right. The 26th Main Road can get quite congested with trucks moving parts back and forth, so there is always some noise outside too. We just keep our heads down and focus on the pieces we are working on. It is honest work and it keeps us occupied. Nothing more to it than that, really. Just a bunch of guys in a shop in Sector 34.
