Pbbs Engineering Works

Pbbs Engineering Works is tucked away at 562 Industrial Area Phase Ii in Chandigarh, specifically around Sector 22 B. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but we’ve been in this building for years. The walls are painted a dull grey and we have heavy metal doors that we slide open every morning at eight. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of machines humming and the occasional clank of metal hitting the floor. We do a lot of fabrication and general engineering stuff for the other factories around here. It’s not a clean job, and we all usually go home with black marks on our faces. We have a small office area, but it’s mostly used for storing old blueprints and coffee cups. The big workbench in the center is where all the real work happens. We don't spend money on advertising or shiny brochures. Most people find us because they heard from someone else that we could fix their broken equipment. Sometimes the street gets flooded during the monsoon, and we have to put everything on top of the tables to keep it dry. It's a lot of hard work and the days are long, but we like the feeling of finishing a job and seeing the machine run again. It’s a practical place for people who need things built or repaired without any fuss.
