Mazid

The place is called Mazid, and it sits right at 17 Manimajra. It’s not a very big shop, just a single room really, but it’s enough for what we do. Manimajra is full of little spots like this one at number 17. I’ve been working here for years, and the walls are covered with things I’ve collected over time. It’s not organized in a way that a big company would like, but I know where everything is. People come in from the street, sometimes just to ask for directions or to see what’s new. I don’t have a lot of fancy equipment. I use what I have and I make sure the work is done properly. The door stays open most of the day to let in a bit of a breeze, though it also lets in the dust from the road. My neighbors are good people, and we all look out for each other. Sometimes I close up a little early if business is slow or if I have something else to attend to. There is no big boss telling me what to do. It’s just Mazid at 17 Manimajra. It is a simple way to make a living. I don't need a lot of space or a lot of fuss. As long as the locals know I am here and I can do the job, that is all that matters to me.
