Mahendar Singh

Being up on the top floor of 3493 Manimajra in Azmera Colony has its ups and downs, mostly the stairs. My name is Mahendar Singh and I’ve been running things from this space for a while now. It’s a quiet enough area once you get inside. The view from the top isn’t much, just the roofs of the other houses in the colony, but it’s peaceful. I don’t like the noise of the main road, so this works out fine for me. I keep a few chairs for when people visit, though it’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk, some files, and my laptop. I spend most of my day here. Sometimes the heat gets a bit much in the summer since we are right under the roof, but a fan helps. I started doing this because I wanted something of my own in Manimajra. It’s a good neighborhood, everyone kind of knows each other around here. I try to keep things simple. No big slogans or flashy signs outside. Just a small board so people know they found the right place. Usually, I'm here from nine to six, but sometimes I leave early if the work is finished. It’s just a basic setup for a basic day’s work. Nothing more to it than that. It's just me here most of the time, making sure things are done right.
