This Life Insurance Corporation India office is located at 810 Manimajra in Hanumantha Nagar on the first floor. You have to walk up a set of stairs to reach us. It is a busy place with people coming in to check on their papers or pay their dues. The room is filled with big metal cupboards and desks that are covered in files and ledgers. We don't have fancy carpets or modern lighting; it’s just the standard office look that has been here for years. The ceiling fans hum loudly all day long, trying to keep the air moving. Since we are on the first floor, we get a good view of the street in Hanumantha Nagar, which is always full of traffic and people walking to the market. It can get quite loud during the middle of the day. Our staff spends most of their time typing away or talking to people who come to the counter with questions. There is usually a bit of a queue, so we stay pretty busy from the moment we open the doors. We don't use any flashy language here; we just explain things as they are. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit worn out, but they serve their purpose. It’s a place of work where we deal with a lot of numbers and signatures every day without any extra fuss.
