Jeep Fabrication

Our shop is located at Plot No. 12 in Phase 1 of the Industrial Area. It is a very loud part of town to work in. There are factories all around us making everything from plastic to car parts. We focus on fabrication, mostly working with heavy steel and iron plates. The shop is a big open space with a high tin roof. When the sun hits it, it gets incredibly hot inside. We have a few big fans, but they mostly just move the warm air around. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and welding. You have to be precise, or the whole piece is ruined. We have a lot of scrap metal piled up in the back that we sort through when we need a small piece for a repair. The guys who work here have been with me for a long time. We know each other's habits and we just get on with the job without much talking. The Industrial Area is always busy with trucks coming and going, so there is a lot of traffic to deal with when we are loading up finished orders. We usually eat our lunch together on some old crates in the shade. It is a gritty, greasy job and we are always covered in soot by the time we go home. It is just how it is in Phase 1. We stay busy and the work is consistent, which is all we really want.
