Jagbir Singh’s place is at 403 Sector 20 on the 8th Cross in Venkateswara Layout. This area is mostly residential, so it feels a bit quieter than the main roads. The office is easy to miss if you aren't looking for the number on the gate. We have a small sign, but it’s not very big. Inside, the space is divided into a couple of rooms where we keep our supplies and do the desk work. It’s a very local feel here. You can hear the neighbors and the street vendors passing by during the day. We have a routine of opening up, checking the messages, and then getting into the day's chores. The furniture is mostly mismatched because we added pieces as we needed them over the years. We have a small kettle in the corner for making coffee or tea, which is essential for the long afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, and we just sit and talk or catch up on manual filing. It’s not a high-tech environment, just a place where we sit down and get things done. We know the people around the layout quite well, and it feels like a community. The 8th Cross is a narrow street, so we always tell people to park a little further down. It’s a simple, practical setup for the work we handle every day.
