Image Makers

Image Makers is located over at Sector 17 on Jaspal Banger Road 94/95. The road out front can get quite dusty, so we are always wiping down our gear to keep it clean. Our studio is more of a workshop than a fancy gallery. It is filled with tripods, rolls of backdrop paper, and heavy black cases that protect our cameras. We have spent many years in this spot, and the neighbors have gotten used to us dragging lights out onto the sidewalk to test them. It is not a very formal environment here. You will mostly find us in jeans and t-shirts, hunched over monitors or checking the batteries for the thousandth time. We have a small kitchen area where the kettle is always on because we spend long hours editing or planning out the next shoot. Jaspal Banger Road is a good place for us because we have enough space to store everything we need. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains heavily, so we have to move the equipment around, but we manage. We aren't into big sales pitches or corporate talk. We just show up with our bags and start working. It is a lot of looking through viewfinders and waiting for the right light. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who have been doing this long enough to know what works.
