Hindustan Times Media Ltd.

Our office is up on the top floor of building 145 in Sector 21A. Being in Chandigarh, you get used to the grid layout of the streets, but Sector 21A is a nice enough spot to work from most days. Hindustan Times Media Ltd. has this space, and it’s mostly just rows of desks and people looking at their computer screens for hours. Since we’re on the top floor, we get a bit of a decent view, which is nice when you need a little break from staring at a keyboard. It’s a media office, so it isn't exactly a quiet library. There is always someone talking on the phone or a printer going off somewhere in the back corner. We aren't doing anything glamorous; it’s mostly just the daily grind of keeping up with information and making sure things are filed correctly. The elevators in this building can be a bit slow in the morning, which is a bit of a local joke among those of us who work here. We’ve been at this address for a while and have settled into a solid routine. It’s a professional enough environment, but we keep it pretty casual among ourselves. No one wears a suit unless they really have to for a meeting. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and head home. It’s a solid place to spend the day, and being in Sector 21A means we have some decent spots nearby to grab a quick lunch when we actually have the time to leave.
