Himachals Sweets

If you are driving along the National Highway No 8 near Ramrajyanagar, you will find Himachals Sweets located in Sector 34. We are right there where the heavy traffic is always moving back and forth. The kitchen gets really hot during the day because we are constantly boiling milk and frying things to make the sweets. I have been working in this kitchen for years, and my hands have grown used to the heat by now. We make the traditional items that people expect to see, and we don't try to be too creative or fancy with the recipes. The shop is filled with the strong smell of sugar and cardamom most of the time. Because we are situated on the highway, we get a lot of travelers who are just passing through and want to buy a box of sweets for their families. We also have many locals from Ramrajyanagar who come in every morning for their usual favorite snacks. The floor is made of old stone tiles, and the display cases have definitely seen better days, but the food is the most important part. I usually have a couple of guys helping me with the heavy lifting in the back. We don't have a website or any social media; we just rely on people seeing the sign from the road as they drive past.
