I work out of the Jeevandeep Building in Sector 17. My name is Harvinder Singh. Being in Sector 17 means there’s always a lot of activity around. It’s a central part of the city, so you see all kinds of people coming and going from the various offices in the building. Jeevandeep is one of those places that feels very busy but also a bit lived-in. I have my space set up there and I spend my days keeping things moving. It’s a lot of sitting and a lot of talking, which can be tiring in its own way. I try to keep my office tidy, but when things get busy, the papers tend to pile up on every flat surface. I like being in a big building because there’s always someone to talk to in the elevators or the hallways. It’s different from having a shop on the street. It’s a bit more insulated from the weather and the direct noise of the cars. I usually bring my own tea in a flask because I’m picky about how it’s made. Some days are long, and I’m still there when the cleaners start their rounds. I don't have a fancy title or anything like that. I’m just Harvinder, and I’m at my desk in Sector 17 doing what needs to be done. It’s a decent way to spend the day and it keeps me out of trouble.
