Durga Bhujia Bhandar

Our shop is located in Sector- 22, specifically Phase 5, Shop 1. Durga Bhujia Bhandar is right on the corner, which makes it easy for people to stop by. We have rows of glass jars and big plastic bags filled with different kinds of bhujia and other snacks. The smell of spices is very strong when you first walk in. We spend a lot of time weighing out portions on the old scale and tying up bags with twine. The shop isn't very big, so we have to stack the crates high against the back wall. We get a lot of people coming in after work to grab something for their evening tea. The floor is made of simple stone and we sweep it out several times a day because crumbs get everywhere. We have been in Phase 5 for years, and we have seen the shops around us change many times. We just keep doing the same thing, filling up the jars every morning and making sure everything is fresh. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, so we pull down the awning to keep the snacks cool. It is a simple business. We don't have any bright neon signs, just the name of the shop painted over the door. People know what we have and they come back for it. It's just a local spot where we work every day to serve the neighbors.
