Deep Caterers

Our kitchen is based out of House Number 4469 in Sector-46D. Chandigarh is a busy place, and we have been part of this neighborhood for a good while. We started Deep Caterers because we always liked cooking for big groups. It is not a big factory or anything; it is a house where we get everything ready for the parties and functions we handle. In the mornings, the whole place smells like onions and spices being fried up for the day’s orders. We spend most of our time coordinating with the vegetable markets and making sure the supplies arrive on time. It gets pretty crowded in the kitchen when a big wedding order is due. We have a small group of guys who help with the serving and the heavy lifting of the big degs. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when three orders come in at once, but we manage. You will see our vans parked outside in the lane quite often. We do not do much advertising; mostly people just know us from word of mouth in Sector 46. It is hard work, standing on your feet all day and making sure the salt and spices are just right, but it keeps us busy. We mostly deal with local family events and small gatherings around the city. It is just us doing what we know how to do, which is making food for people. It takes a lot of energy.
