City Associates

If you happen to be walking around Sector 41 D, you might have noticed our sign over at Show Room No. 43. We are City Associates, and this is where we do all our daily business. It’s a decent-sized space and we’ve been in this particular spot for quite a long time now. Over the years, we’ve gotten to know the other shop owners and the regulars in the area pretty well. Every morning starts the same way, with someone opening up the heavy shutters and getting the lights turned on. It’s usually pretty quiet for the first hour or so, which gives us a chance to catch up on all the messages and emails from the night before. We deal with a lot of local property matters and all the boring paperwork that goes with it. It’s not always the most exciting work, but it’s what needs doing to keep things moving. There are usually a few of us here, either sitting at the main desks or heading out to look at different buildings nearby. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s just a functional office where we get our tasks done. Sometimes the old printers act up or we realize we’ve run out of tea leaves, but that’s just life in a local business. People know where to find us if they have questions about a lease or a property. We try to keep things moving along without too much fuss.
