Chaudhary & Tent & Catering

Chaudhary & Tent & Catering operates out of Sco- 491-492 in Sector-35 C. It’s a decent sized space because we have a lot of stuff to keep track of. When you have tents and all that gear, you need the room. Sector-35 C is a well-known area in Chandigarh, and being in this SCO block makes it easy for people to find where we are. We spend a lot of our time out back or loading things up. The front office is pretty basic, just a place to sit and talk through the details of whatever event is coming up. Decorations aren't a priority in our own office because the work happens elsewhere. You’ll usually see some poles or fabric being moved around if you catch us at the right time. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we all know the routine. It’s not always perfectly organized, but we know where everything is. The street outside can get pretty packed with cars, especially in the evenings. We just keep doing our thing, day in and day out. There’s always a lot to do when it comes to the tent side of the business. It’s heavy work and it keeps us busy. No mission statement hangs on the wall; we just have a calendar full of dates we need to hit. It is honest work and the days go by pretty fast when you are constantly moving gear around Sector-35.
