Chandigarh Catering & Organizers sits down in the basement of Sco-173-174 in Sector-17C. Being in the basement means it stays a bit cooler during those really hot Chandigarh summers. You have to walk down the steps to find us. It’s not a huge place, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. Sector-17C is a pretty central spot, so there’s always something going on outside on the street level. Muffled sounds of traffic and people talking drift down while we work. The walls are a plain color and we’ve got some stacks of boxes here and there. It’s not the kind of place you’d come to see a fancy showroom. We’re mostly focused on the logistics and getting the food side of things sorted out. Some days the humidity gets a little high down here, but we’re used to it by now. A lot of time is spent on the phone or checking our lists for the next event. Basement life is quiet in its own way, which helps when we need to concentrate. We’ve been at this address for a while and the neighbors know us. There’s no big marketing team here, just us trying to keep things moving.
