Our shop is located at number 730 in the Dera Sahip area of Mani Majra. We are very close to the Gurdhwara, so it is an easy place to find if you are in the neighborhood. The shop is mostly filled with black speakers, amplifiers, and miles of cables coiled up on the floor. It is definitely not a fancy showroom. It’s a working space where we test out the gear and make sure everything sounds right before we head out to a gig. We spend a lot of time cleaning dust off the equipment because things get a bit messy in here. Since we are in Chandigarh, we travel to different sectors and nearby towns almost every night. Our work usually starts when the sun goes down and ends long after midnight. It is just me and a couple of assistants who know how to handle the heavy speakers. We don’t have a big office or a secretary to take messages. If you call, you’ll probably talk to one of us directly while we are out on the road. We keep our bookings in a simple diary kept on the main counter. The sound of the Gurdhwara prayers is a constant in the background when we are at the shop during the day, which is nice. We’ve been here in Mani Majra for a long time and we like the local feel of the place. We just focus on the music and the equipment.
