Bhumika Pathak

You can find me at 1216 in Manimajra, right on Madhya Marg in Sector 8. This area is always moving. I’ve been working from this spot for a couple of years now. It’s a small place, but it works for what I need to do. I mostly handle paperwork and talk to clients who live nearby. Manimajra is a place where everyone seems to be in a hurry. I try to keep my office a bit more relaxed. I have a few chairs for people to sit while we talk things through. It’s not a fancy corporate suite. It’s just a room with a desk and some filing cabinets. I do my own typing and filing. Sometimes the printer jams, which is annoying, but I fix it. People stop by because they know they can just talk to me directly. I don't have a receptionist or anything like that. When the phone rings, I’m the one who picks it up. Madhya Marg is convenient because of the buses and the shops. I usually grab lunch from one of the stalls around the corner. It’s a very local way of doing things. I’m just Bhumika, trying to help out with whatever comes across my desk. It’s a steady job and I like being part of the neighborhood here.
