Anjana Paul

You can find me over at 83/7 in Manimajra. It’s a bit of a tight space, but it works for what I do. My name is Anjana Paul and this is where I spend most of my daylight hours. Manimajra is always moving, there's always someone walking by or a scooter zooming past the door. I’ve lived around here for a long time, so I know the rhythms of the street pretty well. The shop, or office, whatever you want to call it, is tucked away just enough that it’s not too loud, but I can still see what’s going on outside. I don’t use any fancy systems or big computers if I can help it. I like to keep my records clear and my desk organized, though it doesn't always stay that way by the afternoon. Usually, I’m here by nine and stay until the evening rush starts to settle down. It’s a way to earn a living and I don't feel the need to dress it up with big words or promises. If you’re looking for 83/7, you just have to look for the blue door near the corner. It gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, so I’m usually sweeping the front step once or twice a day. It’s just part of the routine. I like being part of the local scene here. It is a good place to be and people know where to find me.
