Amit Chauhan

My office is up on the second floor of 970 Sector 47. To get here, you have to come to the 2nd Stage, D Block on Dr Rajkumar Road. It’s a busy part of the city, and the stairs up to the second floor can be a bit steep if you’re not used to them. The name on the door is just Amit Chauhan. I’ve been at this location for a while now. The room is big enough for what I need, with a window that looks out over the street. You can hear the bikes and cars on Dr Rajkumar Road all day long. It’s a good spot because it’s easy for people to find once they get into D Block. Inside, things are kept simple. I have my desk, a few chairs for visitors, and some shelves for my files. I don't go in for a lot of decorations because they just get in the way of the work. It’s a one-man show mostly, so if the phone rings, I’m the one picking it up. Being in Sector 47 means there are plenty of places nearby to grab a quick lunch. The 2nd Stage area is always growing, but 970 stays pretty much the same. It’s a practical place for me to do what I do. I’m usually here from early morning until the sun goes down.
