Ajmer Sweets

Ajmer Sweets is located at 1711 on the Manimajra Narol Isanpur Highway. Since we are right on the highway, we get a lot of people stopping their cars to grab something to eat before they continue their journey. The kitchen is always hot because the stoves are going from early morning. We make things like laddoos, barfi, and whatever else is in season. The smell of sugar and ghee is always hanging in the air around the shop. It is a simple place with some benches for people to sit if they want to eat right away. We spend a lot of time stirring big pots and making sure the trays are full. The highway is noisy and there is always dust, so we have to keep cleaning the glass cases. We have been at this Manimajra location for quite some time now. Some people have been coming to us since they were children and now they bring their own kids. We don't have any fancy marketing, just the food we make every day. When festivals come around, the shop gets really crowded and we all have to work extra hard to keep up. It is a lot of standing and manual work, but we like seeing people enjoy what we make. It’s just a regular sweet shop on a busy road.
