Towa Engineering Works

Towa Engineering Works is located at Khasra No. 146 in Village Burari. It’s a bit out of the main way, but that’s fine for an engineering workshop like ours. We have a fair amount of space here for our machines. The floor is usually covered in metal scraps and there’s that smell of cutting oil in the air all the time. It’s a family-run kind of place. My dad was the one who really got the machines going years ago, and we just kept it running. We do a lot of custom metal work and repairs for anyone who walks in. The roof is made of corrugated sheets, so it gets really loud when it rains, and quite hot when the sun is out. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably find us at one of the lathes or welding something in the back. We use simple English and don't bother with complicated jargon when talking to our customers. If something can be fixed, we tell them, and if it's junk, we tell them that too. Burari has grown a lot around us, but our workshop stays pretty much the same as it always was. We have our old tools that still work better than the new ones sometimes. It’s just a place where we work with our hands and try to make things that last. No big mystery to it, just engineering and sweat.
