Continental Industrial Engineers

We are located at 99, Lane 9 in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area. If you’ve never been here, it’s quite a maze of narrow streets and workshops. It’s right off New Rohtak Road. We’ve been here for years, working as industrial engineers. The shop floor is always a bit greasy and smells like metal and oil. That’s just the nature of the work we do. We have some old machines and some newer ones, and there’s always something that needs fixing or adjusting. It’s a busy place, and the air is thick with the sound of grinding and welding. Our office is just a small corner partitioned off from the main area so we can hear ourselves speak. We don’t have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and helps whoever walked in. It’s a hardworking neighborhood. Everyone around here is making something or fixing something. Sometimes the power is a bit patchy, which can be frustrating when we are in the middle of a job. We don’t spend money on fancy furniture or decorations. Every rupee goes back into the tools and the materials. We stay until the job is finished, which sometimes means late nights under the fluorescent lights. It’s not an easy life, but it’s what we know. We take pride in the stuff we build, even if it’s just for another factory down the road. That is how we have always done it.
