T.I.Steels (P) Ltd

We operate out of a DDA flat in Gulabi Bagh, New Delhi. It’s 2C in the M.I.G. section. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, working out of a residential flat, but it serves our needs just fine. Dealing with steel from a place like this means we spend a lot of time on the phones and handling documents. We don't have a warehouse right here, obviously, so it’s more about the management side of things. Gulabi Bagh is a busy part of Delhi, and the parking is always a bit of a nightmare. We’ve got stacks of paper everywhere and the printer is usually running. It’s not the quietest office because the walls are thin and you can hear the city outside all the time. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a big fancy lobby. We just have our desks, our computers, and our files. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need many meetings. We just know what needs to happen. The tea man comes around once in a while, and that’s usually when we take a break. It’s a very simple, old-school way of running a business in the middle of a big city like New Delhi. We just get on with it and keep the records as straight as we can.
