Carnot Engineers

We are located in Wazirabad Village at Khasara No 174, right on Gali No 8. It’s not the easiest place to find if you’re not from around here. The lanes are narrow and there’s always something going on in the street. Our workshop is a plain building where we do all our engineering work. It’s full of lathes, drills, and bits of scrap metal. The lighting isn't the best, so we use these big portable lamps when we’re working on something small. We spend our days looking at drawings and trying to make parts fit together. It’s a lot of trial and error. Sometimes a piece of metal just won’t behave and we have to start over. The floor is messy with metal shavings that get stuck in your shoes. We don't have air conditioning, so we use big pedestal fans that just push the warm air around. Most of the guys here live nearby, so we walk or bike to work. We take a long break in the middle of the day when the sun is too high. You can usually find us sitting on the bench outside our door. We don't have a sales team or a fancy brochure. People find us by word of mouth or because they saw our sign in the village. It’s honest work and it keeps our hands busy from morning till night.
