Sehnai Sarees Emporium

We've been here at 10-K Kamla Nagar for quite a while now. Most people around the neighborhood know the spot. It is just a regular shop where we keep a lot of sarees. Our daily routine involves opening the shutters in the morning and seeing who comes in. Sometimes things get busy, especially when there is a wedding coming up in someone's family. Customers stop by to look at different fabrics and colors. We try to keep a good variety so there is something for everyone. It is not a huge place, but there are stacks of boxes everywhere. Finding the exact piece someone is looking for can take a minute. Dealing with the local crowd in Kamla Nagar is nice because you get to know the faces. Much of our time is spent folding and unfolding silk and cotton. It is honest work. Even if the lights in the shop aren't the fanciest, they show the colors well enough. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just walk in while they are out doing their other shopping. If you are around 10-K, you will see the sign. It’s a bit old and faded now. Everything is handled by us, from the stocks to talking to customers. It’s just how things are run here. Prices range quite a bit, but we keep them fair for what you get and nothing more.
