Samit Products

We are based at E-64 in the Jhandewalan Flatted Factory Complex. If you have never been here, it can be a bit confusing because there are so many different units all stacked on top of each other. It’s an old industrial building, and it has a lot of character, mostly in the form of peeling paint and noisy elevators. Samit Products has been in this unit for several years now. We make various items here, and the space is usually filled with the sounds of production and people moving boxes around. It is a very busy environment, especially in the mornings when the deliveries arrive. The hallways are often crowded with goods being moved in and out. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a place for guests to sit, really. It’s just a workspace. Most of us have worked together for a long time, so we have a routine down, even if it looks a bit chaotic to an outsider. Sometimes the power flickers when everyone in the complex is running their machines at once, but that is just part of being in Jhandewalan. We usually grab tea from the vendor just outside the main gate when we need a break. It’s a lot of hard work, but it is what we know. We just try to keep the machines running and get the orders out on time.
