Krishan Store

Krishan Store is located at Shop No 166/167 in the Main Bazaar on Halwai Street. We’re very close to the New Delhi Railway Station, so the whole area is always packed with people, luggage, and traffic at all hours. It’s a very old part of Paharganj, and the streets are quite narrow and winding. Our shop has been around for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years as more tourists started coming through. We sell a bit of everything that locals and travelers might need, from basic groceries to daily essentials. It’s a small, crowded space, and we have things tucked into every corner and shelf. The noise from the street is constant, with rickshaws and vendors shouting all day long. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a basic store where you can find what you need and be on your way without any fuss. Sometimes it’s hard for the delivery trucks to get through the narrow lanes to bring us stock, so we have to carry heavy boxes by hand quite a distance from the main road. It’s a lot of physical work, especially in the summer heat. But we like being in the middle of all the action in Paharganj. Most of the people who come in are regulars from the nearby houses.
