Maya Sales Corporation

If you’ve ever walked down Desh Bandhu Gupta Road in Karol Bagh, you might have passed us at 1331/1. Maya Sales Corporation is right on the main stretch. It’s a noisy place because of all the traffic constantly moving towards the city center. We deal with a lot of wholesale and retail stuff, mostly electronics and small appliances. The shop is always full of cardboard boxes. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to stand because a new shipment just arrived and we haven't put it away yet. My desk is tucked in the back, covered in ledgers and pens. I’ve been working here for years, and I know the rhythm of the road outside. Morning is for unloading, and the afternoon is when the walk-in customers start showing up. It gets really dusty being so close to the main road, so we are always wiping down the counters. We have a few staff members who have been with me for a long time. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to sell good items at a fair price to the people who come through our door. Sometimes it’s a frantic day with everyone wanting something at once, and other times it’s slow enough to have a long chat over some snacks. It’s just how a business runs on a busy Delhi road. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
