Our place, Maheshwari Aluminium Co. Pvt. Ltd, is located at number 24 on Devli Road in the Jawahar Park area of Khanpur. It’s a busy stretch of road, especially during the rush hours. We spend our time dealing with aluminium in all its forms. The shop is basically a warehouse with some space for us to move around. It’s not the cleanest environment, but that’s expected when you’re moving metal all day. We have stacks of extrusions and sheets leaning against the walls. We’ve been in Khanpur long enough to know most of the other business owners on Devli Road. We don't use any big marketing tricks. We just put our sign out and wait for people to come in. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or people just passing by and seeing what we have. It’s a lot of physical labor, loading trucks and checking orders. The paperwork usually piles up on the old desk in the corner. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It's just a handful of us making sure the aluminium gets where it needs to go. We've seen the Jawahar Park area grow and change, but our routine stays pretty much the same. We start in the morning, handle the deliveries, and close up in the evening. It’s just a regular local business trying to do its part. We’re right there at 24 Devli Road if anyone needs to find us.
