This shop has been in the family for quite some time. We are located over at 170 in Kamla Market, right on Asaf Ali Road. It’s a loud area with all the traffic, but everyone knows where we are. My father started things and now we just keep it going as best we can. We deal with whatever customers need that day. The shelves are pretty full and sometimes it’s hard to find a specific part right away, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so much stuff piled up. We aren't really into the whole online thing, we just prefer when people come in and talk to us face to face. Sometimes the morning starts slow, but by noon it’s usually a bit of a mess with people coming in and out. We close up for lunch most days. Asaf Ali Road is always moving. We’ve seen businesses come and go, but we’ve stayed put in the same spot. It’s not a shiny new office, just a regular shop with old floors and a lot of history. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations because it doesn’t help us do the work. If you need something, you just ask. Most of our regulars have been coming here for twenty years or more. If the weather is nice, we usually leave the front door wide open to catch a breeze from the street. It’s just how we do things.
