Ram Panjwani Co has been operating out of 1709 Pratap Street for a long time. We are right in the middle of Pahar Ganj, which is one of the most hectic parts of New Delhi. If you’ve ever walked down Pratap Street, you know how it is. There are tourists, rickshaws, and vendors everywhere. Our office is tucked away in one of the older buildings there. It’s not very modern, but it’s been our home base for years. We do a lot of traditional business stuff, mostly dealing with trade and local accounts. We don't really have a website or a social media page because we don't need one. We just do things the old-fashioned way with ledgers and phone calls. Usually, the morning starts with opening up the shutters and dusting off the desks. We have some regular people who stop by for tea and a chat about the market. It’s a very local vibe. We don't try to be something we aren't. We know the area and the people know us. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes it hard to work, but we have a couple of fans that keep things moving. It’s just a steady, daily routine of handling whatever comes through the door. We don't make a big deal out of it or try to act like a big corporation. We just stay here and do the work that needs doing every day.
