It’s a place where there is always something going on, and the streets are never really quiet. We’ve been operating from here for a bit, focusing on the practical side of construction and building work. We don’t have a big fancy office with glass walls; it’s more of a functional space where we keep our files and meet up before heading out to various job sites. Most of our crew are locals who have been in the trade for years. We deal with the usual headaches of construction like rain delays or getting the right supplies delivered through these narrow streets. It’s hard work, and we usually go home covered in some kind of dust or cement, but we don't mind it. We just focus on getting the structures up and making sure the basics are covered. There are a lot of building companies in Delhi, but we just try to do our bit without making a big scene about it. Sometimes we have to work late to meet a deadline, and you’ll see the lights on in the office long after the shops nearby have closed up.
