Phunchog Kukuji Construction Private Limited is located right in the middle of the New Tibetan Camp in Majnu Ka Tilla. Our office is on the ground floor of D-41, which makes it pretty easy for people to drop by and chat. Majnu Ka Tilla has its own vibe, very different from the rest of Delhi, and we’ve grown to really enjoy being part of this community. We do various types of construction work, mostly local stuff that keeps the neighborhood looking okay. The space we have is simple and functional. It's not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. We have some desks, our files, and a place to sit down with customers. It gets quite lively outside our door with all the visitors and local residents going about their day. We started this because there was always someone needing a bit of repair or a new structure put up around the camp. Dealing with construction in these narrow lanes can be a bit of a challenge sometimes, especially getting materials in and out, but we managed to figure it out over time. We aren’t looking to be the biggest company out there, just reliable enough that the people living here trust us with their homes and shops. It is honest work, and we take it one day at a time without any grand plans or fancy talk. The office floor gets dusty but we keep it tidy enough for visitors.
