Jhonpda Builders Private Limited is set up at P-1 in the Sukhi Jeevan Complex on Jacob Road, over in Civil Lines. It’s a decent area, and we’ve been here for a while. Our daily routine is mostly about checking in on construction progress and making sure we have enough materials for the next day. We don't use those shiny corporate slogans because they don't really mean much when you're dealing with a pile of sand and gravel. Building things is just plain hard work. We have a small group of people who have been with us for a long time. We know each other's habits and how to get things done without talking too much. The office in the Sukhi Jeevan Complex is where we do the planning, but most of the real action happens out at the sites. We don't try to impress anyone with fancy meetings or long presentations. If someone wants to know about a project, we just take them there and show them. It’s more honest that way. Civil Lines has changed a lot since we started, but our way of working hasn't really. We just take things one brick at a time and try to finish what we started. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy and out of trouble. Sometimes the coffee in the office is terrible, but we drink it anyway and get on with the day’s tasks. We’re usually here until the sun goes down.
