Jaycee Sourcing Solutions is located in one of the L.I.G Flats, specifically 24-B in Prasad Nagar. Being in a flat means the office has a very lived-in feel. Prasad Nagar is a central part of New Delhi-110005, so we are close to a lot of things. The office space is basically a converted apartment, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a standard office. We do sourcing work, so we spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and checking on orders. There are samples of different items scattered around on the shelves and sometimes on the floor. It can get a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. The balcony has been closed in to make more room for a desk. We hear the neighbors and the general bustle of the flat complex throughout the day. The kitchen is small but it's where we make our instant coffee when we need a break. The stairs up to the flat are a bit steep and the paint is peeling in a few spots in the hallway. We don't have a fancy boardroom, we just sit around the main table when we need to talk things through. It’s a simple, down-to-earth way of working. We just deal with the logistics and the paperwork as it comes in, trying to stay ahead of the deadlines while the city moves along outside our windows.
