You can find H K S Metals over at G/35 in the Janakpuri District Centre, near DESU Colony. It’s a pretty central spot, so there’s always people walking by. Our place isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of space we have. We deal with metal supplies and whatever else comes up. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the stacks and bins. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. We just keep doing our thing at the District Centre. It’s mostly regular work—sorting, weighing, and talking to whoever walks through the door. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The office part is just a small corner with some papers and a phone that rings more than it should. We try to keep up with the orders, but sometimes things get a bit backed up. That’s just life in a small business. We don't have any big slogans. We just show up at G/35 and get to work. Most of our regulars are from the Janakpuri area, though we get some outsiders too. It’s a noisy area, but you get used to it after a few years. We just keep our heads down and handle the metal. It’s practical work for practical people. If you’re near DESU Colony, you’ll probably see our sign. It’s been there forever and we don't plan on moving. It is just where we are.
