Griham Next Home Development Private Limited is based out of Civil Lines, at 58/1B Elgin Road. Civil Lines has a different feel compared to the rest of Delhi, maybe a bit more old-school, and we like that. Our work is all about home development, which is basically helping people get their houses sorted out or working on new residential spots. The office on Elgin Road is where we keep all our drawings and permit papers. It is not a huge corporate headquarters; it is just a solid place where we can meet and talk about the work. We have a few desks and a lot of files because home development involves a massive amount of paperwork these days. The area around us is fairly quiet, which is nice when we need to concentrate on some complicated planning. We don't have any flashy signs or big advertisements out front. Most of our day is spent either on the phone with suppliers or visiting sites to see how the construction is moving along. We have a small crew and we all know our roles. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late when a project is at a critical stage, but usually, we try to wrap things up so we can get home. It is a straightforward business where we focus on the practical side of building homes without any of the extra fluff.
