Chitra Industrial Corporation

Chitra Industrial Corporation is based in the Flatted Factories Complex at Jhandewalan. We are at A-77. It’s a very industrial sort of place, as the name suggests. There are always trucks moving and the sound of machines in the background. Our unit is just one of many in the block. Inside, it’s mostly tools, workbenches, and whatever we are working on that week. It’s not a place for a fancy meeting, just a place for getting things made. We have a small staff and most of us have been working together for a long time. We don't use much fancy English or have a big front office. We just wear our work clothes and get to it. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time for that yet. We'd rather focus on the orders we have. Jhandewalan is a busy hub, and being in this complex makes it easy to stay connected to other manufacturers. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar and a list of things to finish. It’s a bit dusty and loud, but it’s our space. We take pride in just doing what we do every day without making a big fuss about it. That is just the way we like to run the shop. We finish our work, lock up, and head home to our families.
