Asha Land Developers LLP is at 4/5B Asaf Ali Road in Central Delhi. It’s a historic part of the city, and the 110002 area has a very specific feel to it. The building we’re in has been around for quite a while, and you can tell by the way the hallways look. Our office is usually filled with the sound of old fans and people shuffling papers. We deal with land development, which means we spend a huge amount of time going through old records and trying to get everything in order. It’s a lot of paperwork and waiting in government offices. Asaf Ali Road is always packed with people and vehicles, so just getting to work in the morning can be an adventure. We have a few big desks and some metal cabinets that are overflowing with documents. We aren’t really into the modern, minimalist office look; our space is messy because we’re actually working in it. Sometimes we have clients come in, and we just clear off a chair for them and offer some water or tea. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. We don’t have any missions or visions written on the walls. We just know what needs to be done for the day and we try to do it. The neighborhood has a lot of energy, and we’ve been a part of it for a long time now. It’s just a regular office on a very busy road.
