Usha Martin Limited

If you go to Neelanchal Colony in the Saraidhela area of Dhanbad, you’ll find us. We are located at Guru Sewa Singh’s place. It’s a bit of a local landmark around here. Dhanbad is known for its coal, but our day-to-day is mostly about administrative stuff for Usha Martin Limited. The office is tucked away in a quiet street. We don't get a lot of walk-in traffic, which suits us just fine. Inside, it’s pretty basic. A few desks, some chairs, and a lot of cabinets for all the records we have to keep. The lighting isn't the best, so we usually have the windows open when the weather allows. It can get quite dusty because of all the activity in the district, so we spend a lot of time wiping down our keyboards. We have a small team here. Most of us have lived in Jharkhand our whole lives. We talk about the local news and the cricket scores while we work. It’s a relaxed environment, though we do get busy toward the end of the month. There’s no big sign out front, just a small one near the door. We don't really need anything more than that. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just focus on getting the tasks done and making sure the paperwork is correct before the mail goes out. Everyone just does their part without making a big fuss about things.
