Bhushan Steel

Our Bhushan Steel branch is located at 85, Co-Operative Colony in Bokaro Steel City. Since this whole city was built around the steel industry, it makes a lot of sense for us to be right here in Jharkhand. The colony is a decent place, fairly organized compared to some other industrial towns. Our office is a simple setup where we spend the day tracking orders and talking to the plant guys. In Bokaro, everyone knows someone who works in steel, so we don't need to explain much about what we do. We have a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of ledgers. The dust from the industrial areas sometimes drifts over, so we are always cleaning the windows. It is a practical environment. We don't have any marketing experts or fancy brochures lying around. If someone needs to talk about a shipment, they just come by or call us up on the landline. We have our routine: tea in the morning, checking the dispatch notes, and making sure the drivers have their directions. The evenings are usually a bit quieter once the main shifts at the big plants change over. It’s a steady kind of life here. We’ve been in this spot long enough that the postman doesn't even need to look at the house number anymore. We just keep our heads down and do the work that’s in front of us.
